What is the Ripple Campaign?

Every act of courage begins as a single ripple. The Ripple Campaign is Leadership Austin’s annual invitation to alumni, partners, and friends to invest in the future of leadership in Central Texas. When you give, you’re not just funding a class. You’re sparking courageous leadership that spreads across workplaces, neighborhoods, and communities. The annual campaign runs each fall, and this year it closes December 3.

Why now?

Leadership Austin has always relied on the generosity of its alumni and community. What’s changing is the community around us and the opportunity in front of us. Central Texas is growing, the challenges facing our communities are increasingly complex, and the need for connected, courageous leadership has never been greater. We’re responding by expanding pathways into leadership, strengthening alumni engagement, and creating more opportunities for leaders to put leadership into action. We’re building Leadership Austin’s next chapter, together.

About Your Gift

Programs charge tuition. Why does Leadership Austin need donations?

Tuition and program revenue cover only part of the cost of delivering our programs. Philanthropic support helps close that gap, build capacity, invest in new opportunities, and give us the flexibility to respond to community needs. We manage our resources carefully and maintain operating reserves for stability. Those reserves are a safety net, not a substitute for ongoing philanthropic support. Like most nonprofits, we rely on a combination of program revenue, partnerships, and philanthropy to sustain our work.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes. Your gift is tax-deductible, to the extent allowed by law. Leadership Austin is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our tax ID is 74-2967463. Contact us with questions.
