Leadership Austin did a fantastic job of creating space for seeking to understand each other, leveraging tools and resources, tips for activating civic engagement, elevating voices through work experience, and validating that life experience can also mean that you are an expert on that topic.

The speakers at the event were nothing short of incredible, bringing their unique voices and experiences to enrich our collective growth. Their wisdom resonated deeply, reminding us of the power of community and shared learning.

Now more than ever, we need to lean in and embrace the paradoxes of leadership. Let’s work together and be Better… Together. Thank you to Leadership Austin for providing a platform to build, lead, and love our community forward.

These (conference) sessions helped me to think about how being a leader in our challenging society means we need to acknowledge our differences, find shared values, and build our conversations around ways that encompass them.

There aren’t many programs and opportunities outside of college that allow you to connect with a large group of people who are truly wanting to make a difference in their community. It is an incredible opportunity and I am blessed to have been part of it.
