Often, artists and creatives are expected to bring beauty, love and joy to the world. But, what happens when our artists and creatives need us to shine a little beauty, love and joy back into their lives too?
Therefore, in recognition of SXSW, we would like to shine a spotlight on our artist community. In particular we would like to explore how artist have been coping during these past two years in the pandemic. In this panel, we will:
- Lift the stories and experiences of different artists and creatives in our Greater Austin region
- Explore different factors such as economics, health, mental health, social wellbeing and connectedness
- Discuss meaningful ways to support our artist community during these times
