Feb 09 | Lessons Learned from Workplace Anti-Racism Trainings

Workplace anti-racism trainings provide education around the impacts of systemic racism. This is done through creating shared language and protocols to consciously identify and respond to racist behavior within organizational structures and cultures.

Beyond awareness and training, what can organizations (on all levels) do to apply these tools in their day-to-day interactions? This includes internal relationships, dynamics and processes as well as external programs, services and engagement.

Guest panelists will help us explore this question by:

  • having a conversation around challenges, mistakes, successes, and opportunities for continued growth and sustainability
  • looking to audience members to share their own experiences, lessons and unresolved questions
  • providing tangible action steps for organizations, boards, employers and employees to rise to the challenge of co-creating an anti-racist work environment and community
