40 Stories in 40 Days: Day 18

Dell Children’s Medical Center and Ascension Seton have been bringing Leadership Austin programming to the region for more than 10 years. As the presenting sponsors of Essential – the flagship program of Leadership Austin – as well as the Engage Breakfast Series, they help us connect more than 1,700 people to the issues that are important in our communities every year.

The hospital system also supports Leadership Austin scholarships at Best Party Ever, Beyond Diversity seminar training for its employees and the community, as well as tuition and time allowances for its employees to participate in both the Essential and Emerge cohorts.

Geronimo Rodriguez (Essential 25 – 2004), Chief Advocacy Officer for Ascension Texas and Kate Garza (Essential 41 – 2020), Advocacy and External Affairs for Ascension Texas recently shared their thoughts about Leadership Austin and why supporting our work aligns with the mission, vision and values at Ascension Seton and Dell Children’s.

We are so grateful for the continued support and leadership of these organizations and look forward to many more years of partnership. Thank you, Dell Children’s Medical Center and Seton Ascension, for being part of the Leadership Austin story!
