Homelessness in Austin
By now, some of you may have come across news articles, radio broadcasts or city meetings on homelessness. Our homelessness issue is not just a shelter problem, a safety problem, a city official’s problem or even a health problem. Homelessness is a complex issue and is everyone’s problem as outlined in Austin’s Homeless Strategy. It is time for all of Austin to come together to challenge homelessness and the complex problems associated with it. We invite you to join us to discuss key issues, proactive solutions and ways to become engaged in our community.
