Civic Health: How Does Greater Austin Measure Up?

As the November elections are just around the corner, join us for the release of the 2018 Greater Austin Civic Health Index™, which outlines the civic health of our region. Civic health refers to the way communities come together to define and address problems through political participation, civic involvement, volunteerism and social connectedness. Cities with strong civic health have more informed, engaged and empowered community members. However, disparities in civic health are linked to disparities in socio-economic factors such as race, income, education, physical health and environment. So, how does Greater Austin measure up?
