Engage Breakfast Series September 12- 2018 Bond: What You Need to Know

2018 City Bond: What You Need to Know

On November 6, you will have an opportunity to make your voice count in the 2018 general elections. It is critical that you have an understanding of what you are voting on and its potential impact on your community and the city at large. In this conversation, members from the Board Election Advisory Task Force will discuss key highlights on the $925 million package of Bond Propositions. This authorization to borrow would help pay for projects in affordable housing, public safety, transportation, investments in facilities and cultural assets, flood mitigation initiatives, parkland and open space in exchange for an estimated two cent property tax rate increase. Join us to gain better insight into the historic bond package so you can see what may align with your vision for our city.
