Brent Lyles (Essential 2011 and Current Leadership Austin Board Member) has been named the new Executive Director of the Colorado River Alliance, whose goal is to secure the vitality of the Texas Colorado River through education and advocacy for all generations.

Yasmin Wagner (Essential 2010) was appointed by the Austin ISD school board to represent Southwest Austin as the District 7 Trustee through November 2016.
