Media & Democracy
We invite you to join us this month as we explore the topic of media in democracy and how it affects our Civic Engagement. Recently, Gallup and the Knight Foundation issued reports showing American’s trust in the media has reached a record low. In this digital era where consumers have access to so much information and media is struggling to find a viable business model, how can journalism sustain its existence and continue to engage audiences in ways that inform our democracy? What role as consumers, do we playing in this transition? Join us as we explore these challenges and the impacts to the civic health of our community.
