Appointed in September 2016, Ms. Hart will discuss the most important leadership qualities while leading during a transition and her role in providing stability to the city during this time.
The Meet the Leader series provides an intimate gathering to give alumni the opportunity to meet an important figure in our community. Elaine Hart has over 30 years experience in public and private sector finance including a career with the City of Austin that spans more than 20 years. She has been the City’s Chief Financial Officer since April 2012. Prior to her appointment as CFO, she served for more than 10 years as Senior Vice President of Finance and Corporate Services for Austin Energy, Austin’s municipally-owned electric utility.
