In Austin and across America, the question of what role faith and religion play in community discussions is quickly becoming a dividing line. The Washington Post reports that 49 percent of Americans say churches and other houses of worship “should express their views on day-to-day social questions,” while 48 percent say churches and other houses of worship should keep out of these matters. Join Leadership Austin and Interfaith Action of Central Texas (iACT) in exploring how we might share and respect each other’s faith based values when we have important community conversations.
