The Heart of Innovation: A new medical district at the center of Austin’s growth
A new medical school is coming to Austin, and with it the vision for much more. As a part of an “innovation district,” the Dell Medical School will open its doors to students in the fall of 2016 and—according to UT’s master plan—will create the opportunity to nurture an emerging health and life sciences sector, enhance connectivity and access, and improve learning, research, and clinical opportunities. In addition, the district will provide space and technical resources that can leverage university research and discoveries into new businesses and products. What’s in store in the months and years ahead to bring this vision to life? Join our panelists in an interactive dialogue to find out.
