Congratulations to Priscilla Guajardo Cortez (Emerge 2007, Essential 2009, and Current Leadership Austin Board Member) who has been named Executive Director of Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas which is dedicated to helping low-income individuals access the civil justice system by providing free legal advice and representation from volunteer attorneys.

Congratulations to David Lofye (Essential 2016) who has opened his own consulting firm, David Lofye Consulting.

Congratulations to the new members of the 2016 CAN Community Council. Aimee Finney (Essential 2013 and Current Leadership Austin Board Member), Monica Guzman (Essential 2017) and Carmen Luevanos (Essential 2014) were recently appointed.
