Information & Tickets for Engage Breakfast June 3: How will you lead?

Our Engage Breakfast series will close this season by exploring how our community engaged in the many leadership changes that have occurred over the past year. Dr. Regina Lawrence, Director of The Annette Strauss Institute for Civic Life at The University of Texas at Austin, in conjunction with Leadership Austin, will present results from our civic engagement report from the 10-1 City Council election this fall. This will be the public’s first opportunity to hear data from the Essential class project.

We are pleased to be joined by City of Austin Mayor Steve Adler and Travis County Judge Sarah Eckhardt, who will share their leadership challenges and opportunities they have experienced in their first several months in office. They will share their visions for moving forward during this exciting period of Austin history. We encourage attendees to bring their questions about leadership and to engage in a meaningful discussion about the effective ways to lead our growing community.
